Coaching Certifications

Winnipeg Minor Hockey Association in conjunction with Hockey Manitoba will be offering a weekend of "Super Clinics" for the upcoming season. Opportunities to certify prior to this weekend will be very limited and you are encouraged to register as this will be the final certification clinic.

The dates are as follows:

The University of Manitoba

All coaches must be certified to coach a hockey team.

You can signup for a clinic online or by calling Hockey Manitoba.
It is your responsibility to get the needed certification.

Coaches must be certified by Dec. 1,2007 or they will be suspended

Teams must also have a certified Safety person on the roster.
All coaches must complete the Speak Out, now called Respect in Sport program as part of their certification. This can be done online. Follow the links from the Hockey Manitoba site to do this.
